Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity (WHH Charity) expresses heartfelt appreciation to William's Gift, a dedicated charity committed to supporting children and families in hospitals, for their generous donation of care packages to the Children’s Ward at Warrington Hospital.

William's Gift, founded in memory of William, who was born with a rare disease that affected his entire bowel, has been a beacon of hope for families facing challenging times. Despite the heartbreaking loss of William on 11 December 2019, aged six, his parents established William’s Gift to create a lasting legacy of compassion and support for those in need.

Over the past four years, William's Gift has been a consistent and valued contributor to the wellbeing of families visiting Warrington Hospital Children’s Ward. Their commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their loved ones during hospitals stays has been unwavering.

To commemorate what would have been William's 10th birthday, William's Gift initiated a heartwarming initiative this year. They collaborated with the dedicated staff at Warrington Hospital Children’s Ward to create a wish list of items that would enhance the experiences of young patients.

In response to this thoughtful request, William's Gift has generously donated a collection of gifts that align with the needs expressed by the hospital staff. The gifts, carefully chosen to bring comfort and joy, will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children receiving medical care.

WHH Charity extends sincere thanks to William's Gift for their ongoing support to the Children’s Ward.
