Corporate Fundraising

There are several ways that business and corporations can support our charity.

Employees from businesses across Warrington, Runcorn, Widnes and other surrounding areas can become part of our journey by offering their valuable time to partake in various fundraising activities.

We rely on support from local businesses to help achieve our fundraising goals. As a business you are likely to have staff that have some kind of affinity with our hospitals, through their own personal experience or someone they know.

What are the benefits for your organisation?

By supporting WHH Charity you will:

  • feature in external and internal publicity
  • gain exposure for your business among our 4,500 strong workforce
  • receive tailored support for all your fundraising activities

How you can support your hospital through payroll giving

Did you know you could give less than £1 per month to support Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals (WHH) via payroll giving?

By donating the spare pennies from your monthly salary to WHH Charity, your kind gesture can help make a big difference for our patients and their families, as well as our staff.

From creating a sensory room in the Children’s Ward and salon for dementia patients, to building new mental health and wellbeing facilities and supporting staff development, we provide those added touches that go beyond what the NHS can offer.

What is payroll giving?

The Microhive initiative gives both WHH staff members and larger corporate businesses in Warrington and Halton a unique opportunity to support the vital work of our hospital charity through easy and affordable payroll giving.

By contributing a small amount from your monthly salary (between 1p and 99p), we can create a powerful collective impact that supports our patients and NHS colleagues.

Corporate business payroll giving

Is your organisation ready to make a real difference to your local hospital?

If your company has 500 or more employees you can support Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals’ Charity (WHH Charity) through our payroll giving initiative.

Microhive allows your employees to contribute the spare change from their monthly salary, making it easier than ever to support local NHS colleagues.

How payroll giving works for your business

Companies can sign up with Microhive, giving staff the option to donate a small amount from their monthly wage (between 1p and 99p) to WHH Charity.

Though these contributions may seem minor individually, when combined they can have a significant positive impact, supporting the health and wellbeing of patients and staff at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals.

Benefits for your business

Supporting WHH Charity through Microhive not only strengthens your company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) but also enhances employee engagement.

With 10 per cent or more employee participation, your business can earn recognition through the Microhive Quality Mark, with awards ranging from bronze to platinum. These accolades highlight your company’s dedication to community involvement and can enhance your Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) profile.

Why choose WHH Charity?

WHH Charity has a long heritage in Warrington, Halton and the surrounding areas, and we have been supporting residents, patients and staff since 1996.

We want to continue to work together with our local communities and businesses to provide additional comforts, care and experiences for patients and their families which goes beyond what the NHS can provide.

Through payroll giving we can ensure every penny raised has a direct, local impact on those we care for and support. Your company and employees really can make a significant difference.

Sign up with Microhive and support WHH Charity today.
