The pupils of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School are no strangers to supporting Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity (WHH Charity), and their latest contribution highlights their creativity and enthusiasm. Sixteen students starred in three promotional videos highlighting WHH Charity’s mission, its impact on local communities, and the heartwarming relationship between Sacred Heart Catholic Primary, in Whitecross, Warrington, and WHH Charity.

Helen Higginson, Head of Fundraising at WHH Charity, said: “We are incredibly grateful to the pupils and staff at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School for their continued support and enthusiasm for our hospital charity. Their generosity and creativity never fail to amaze us, and their starring roles in these videos will help to spread the word about what our charity does.”

Since 1996, WHH Charity has raised funds to enhance the care, comfort, and experiences for patients and families, while also supporting staff wellbeing, beyond what the NHS can provide. As the only local charity supporting people from birth to end of life, we ensure every donation stays within our hospitals. Sacred Heart has a strong partnership with WHH Charity, supporting us through fundraising, performances, and creating thank you cards for staff.

Danielle Walker, Assistant Headteacher, said: “At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School we are committed to helping others and supporting our community, and this partnership with WHH Charity provides our students with a meaningful way to contribute. It’s wonderful to see how excited the children are to be involved, whether it's through singing at the hospital or creating cards and poems for patients and staff. We’re proud of how engaged our pupils are in making a difference.”

The promotional videos, brought to life by the talented pupils, aim to inspire others to learn more about WHH Charity and get involved in supporting its important work.
