Managing Director Jane Chewins is set to take on a 50-mile cycle from Chester to Liverpool and back to fundraise for breast cancer services at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals.
Jane, who is the Managing Director at JCL Insurance Brokers will begin the 50-mile bike ride on Sunday 2nd July at Chester before heading to Liverpool and then returning to Chester. Jane previously raised £3,500 for breast cancer care by completing a bike ride from Vietnam to Cambodia.
All money raised by Jane will go to WHH Charity’s ‘Moobs & Boobs’ campaign, which aims to raise funds for all things breast care related at the Trust, for both men and women.
Managing Director, Jane, battled breast cancer in 2014 and underwent two operations along with six sessions of chemotherapy and 15 sessions of radiotherapy. Since beating breast cancer, Jane, has been determined to help others by raising funds to support with their care.

Speaking of this latest challenge, Jane said: “I have chosen to raise funds for WHH Charity’s Moobs and Boobs campaign to help others who are or have suffered from breast cancer.
“Helen Higginson, who is a good friend of mine, works at Warrington and Halton Hospitals in the charity team and I know she will use the money I raise to make a difference and help people in their hour of need.
“It is great to raise money for charity but even better when you know the person who will make that money make a difference will feed back to me how it’s going to be spent when I am nurturing my sore bones and bottom.”
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity Head of Fundraising, Helen Higginson said: "We are incredibly grateful to have been chosen by Jane to become the benefactor of this very challenging event. Support such as this truly does make a difference to our breast cancer patients.”
