Join ‘HAL’S KNITTING CREW’ today!
We at WHH Charity have a vision to offer every child in need of our services a little ‘special something’ – a knitted hand puppet!
Hal is the name of our knitted mini mascot and he is in need of some friends to be paired up with all the children utilising our hospital services, so why not make excellent use of your knitting skills and put a huge smile on the faces of our girls and boys?
What’s more, we have made things easier for you by providing a knitting pattern, simply contact us
You can then either drop your puppet off at Warrington Hospital Charity Office, or post your knitted creations to the following address:
Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital’s
Community Charity Hub
Lovely Lane
Warrington WA5 1QG
If you feel like going the extra mile, then why stop at one?
In order to give a puppet every child who walks through our doors we will need 30,000 and so to gain the support of other wonderful people such as you, we ask you to send us a photo of you and your creations – we will then display them throughout our media portals making our ‘Hal’s Knitting Crew’ the biggest ever!
You could also include a heartfelt message with your hand puppet, which we will display on posters around the hospital for our youngsters to read.
Knowing that your time and love has gone into knitting your cuddly companion will fill our children with so much joy, so why not give it a go?
