Making a difference in our hospitals

WHH Charity has a long heritage in Warrington, Halton and the surrounding areas.

With your help we have been able to create remembrance and therapy gardens, build a new children’s play area, construct a sanctuary hub to improve staff mental health and wellbeing, introduce activity tables for dementia patients, gaming stations for the Children’s Ward, foldaway beds for overnight patients, special cots to support bereaved families, and much more.

Free meals for parents of children receiving care

WHH has introduced a new scheme offering free meals to parents staying in hospital with their sick child on the Children’s Ward.

Primary school knitting club keeps newborn babies warm

Bewsey Lodge Primary School pupils have been working hard for more than 10 years to keep newborn babies on the Neonatal Unit warm.
