Charity golf day raises more than £10,000 for Willow Tree Hub
Wednesday 30 September 2026
A charity golf day has raised more than £10,000 to support families following baby loss or during a pregnancy after loss at Warrington Hospital.
Organised by Protive Security and Surveillance Ltd, the event brought 14 teams together at Poulton Park on Friday 11 September to raise funds for WHH Charity’s Willow Tree Hub Appeal.
Thanks to the support of players and sponsors, the money raised will help create a calm, private space where families can receive care and support. The hub will also become home to the Rainbow Clinic, which cares for families during pregnancy after loss.
Helen Higginson said: “We are so grateful to Protive Security and Surveillance Ltd for organising the golf day, and to every player and sponsor who supported it. Raising more than £10,000 is a wonderful achievement and will help us provide a more comfortable and private space for families at a very difficult time.”
