Reach new heights for WHH Charity with the National 3 Peaks Challenge

Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September 2025

Are you ready to climb three of the UK’s most iconic mountains – and raise vital funds for Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals Charity (WHH Charity) along the way?

Taking place over two days from Friday 5 to Sunday 7 September 2025, the National 3 Peaks Challenge gives you the chance to summit Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in one unforgettable weekend – all in support of a great cause.

For a £250 registration fee, you’ll receive:

  • Two nights’ accommodation (twin share)

  • Professional mountain guide (Mark McKenzie)

  • Minibus travel (plus fuel and snacks onboard)

  • An unforgettable experience with a team of like-minded trekkers

All we ask is that you commit to raising a minimum of £250 in sponsorship to help us go even further for patients and their families at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital.

Of course, if you’d like to aim higher – we’re right behind you!

Friday 5 September

Depart from the Wychwood Hotel Car Park at 12 noon, heading up to Fort William for our first overnight stay.

Saturday 6 September – Ben Nevis

We’ll hit the trail early, setting off from Fort William at 7.30am to conquer Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the UK!

After descending, there’ll be time to grab lunch and freshen up before travelling to Cumbria for a well-earned rest.

Sunday 7 September – Scafell Pike and Snowdon

Rise and shine! We’ll leave early for Scafell Pike, beginning the climb around 7.30am.

Once complete, we’ll journey south to Snowdon, arriving by early evening for the final leg of the challenge.

We expect to wrap up our mountain adventure between 11pm and midnight – what an achievement!

To keep things comfortable, participants are encouraged to bring just one large bag and a rucksack for the journey.
