If you’re not keen on abseiling, running a marathon or sitting in a bath of beans…but you still want to help - how about volunteering?

Without our on-site volunteers we would be unable to provide the variety of help required to support our wonderful community of donors and fundraisers. Volunteering gives the opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn new skills and become part of our evolving WHH Charity volunteer team, based at either Warrington or Halton hospitals.

We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas:

Our garden crew maintain three key garden areas around Warrington hospital, Dementia Ward / Stroke Ward & Remembrance Garden.

Pam, Jan & Alison work hard in creating a welcoming bright and colourful garden for our patient, staff and visitors to enjoy.

Should you wish to become part of the gardening crew please do contact the charity team on 01925 662666 or email whh.charity@nhs.net

Volunteering to provide general support to our charity at the Warrington Hospital site could see supporting our fundraising team.

You may also be required to sit on our reception area where you will be the front-of-house face of the charity, providing information and guidance including giving out fundraising packs, sharing information on how to make a donation/or sharing information about what it is we do and the positive difference we make to our patients.

We welcome volunteers who act as ambassadors in our communities to raise awareness of our charity. This can include supporting the charity fundraising team through bucket collections, event support and connecting with community groups to raise awareness of the charity and support them in their fundraising efforts.
