Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospital’s Charity (WHH Charity) thanks the generous individuals and organisations who contributed to the Easter Egg Appeal, bringing joy to patients during their hospital stay.

This year, the hospital received an overwhelming response from the community, with numerous donations pouring in to support patients during the holiday season. Among the generous contributors were real5 Digital, CEFElectrical, the Warrington Scooter Club, BNI Warrington, and Paul James of Poplars Farm in Antrobus.

The team at real5 Digital, led by their Social Media Director Steph, visited the hospital to deliver Easter Eggs personally.

Steph, said: "We really wanted to do something, anything we could, to improve the experience of anyone who might be in hospital over a holiday - and what better way to do it than with chocolate?"

CEFElectrical also made a significant contribution, acknowledging the challenges patients face during holidays and aiming to make their hospital stay a little brighter. Their donation, along with those from the Warrington Scooter Club and BNI Warrington, truly made a difference in brightening the spirits of patients.

Furthermore, Paul James of Poplars Farm demonstrated extraordinary generosity by donating over 350 creme eggs, adding a delightful twist to the Easter festivities.

Head of Fundraising, Helen Higginson, said: “We're thrilled with the response we've had this year to our call out for Easter eggs. Thanks to everyone who has donated! We're positive that they brought smiles to lots of faces this weekend - let's hope we got a visit from the Easter Bunny to help us deliver them all!"

The Easter Egg Appeal not only provided patients with sweet treats but also demonstrated the power of community kindness and compassion. Through these donations, individuals and organisations have contributed to creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients during their time at the hospital.

WHH Charity extends sincere thanks to all who supported the Easter Egg Appeal, making a difference in the lives of patients and spreading joy throughout the hospital.
