Fundraising Manchester 10K

By March 31, 2016News

One of our Fundraisers Denis McDonald has decided to run the Manchester 10K in May 2016 and has chosen the WHH Charity neonatal fund to become the beneficiary of all his wonderful fundraising efforts.

Denis said: ‘I’ve chosen the hospitals charity neonatal fund because our son, Jack Thomas McDonald was born there on the 1st September 2015. He was 5 weeks premature and although perfectly healthy spent 11 days in the special care baby unit on neonatal. The care he received was amazing. It was so hard to leave our new born son in hospital every night when we headed home but the staff cheap valium pills uk couldn’t have been more caring and reassuring. From feeding our son and caring for him when we weren’t there, to leaving little notes at the end of his bed unit for us to read in the morning. They were just all so amazing. We will never forget what they did for us, and for Jack. And we saw the care provided for the babies far more poorly than ours. It just made me want to do something to raise money, even if it’s just a small amount, to do more than just say thank you.
