The amazing team from Primark Golden Square, led by Dawn McElroy and Chelsea Naylor, generously supported WHH Charity’s toy and gift appeal. Their thoughtful donations included baby essentials and items for new mums, selected with care. Primark also engaged their colleagues and customers, making this a true community effort.
Warrington Scooter Club
Warrington Scooter Club brought festive joy to the children’s ward at Warrington Hospital with their annual Christmas toy delivery. Dressed for the season, the club members brought smiles to the faces of our young patients and staff. On Monday 16 December, Kier Construction made a heartwarming contribution to our Christmas toy and gift appeal. Staff and suppliers generously donated a range of thoughtful items, including toys, festive snacks, and toiletries. A huge thank you to Kier Construction for this generous delivery.

Bumblebee Plumbing and Heating continued their annual tradition of donating Chocolate Oranges to young patients at Warrington and Halton Hospitals during the Christmas season. Thank you, Bumblebee Plumbing and Heating, for your sweet support.

The BNI Warrington team generously donated toys for young patients visiting Warrington and Halton Hospitals over the Christmas period. Thank you to BNI Warrington for making this Christmas special for our young patients.

Pyjamas bring comfort this Christmas
Lisa Cleaver, Children’s Hospital Pyjama Coordinator, has been working hard to collect pyjama donations through local schools hosting pyjama days.
The donated pyjamas will provide comfort to children during their hospital stay.
A huge thank you to all the schools, parents and students who supported this initiative and made it a success.
Amazon donation for young patients
A local Amazon storage centre has generously donated toys and chocolate selection boxes to support young patients during the festive season.
This thoughtful contribution will help spread joy and make the holidays a little brighter for children visit our hospitals.
Charity volunteers shine at Penketh Christmas Market, raising £165
On Saturday 30 November, charity volunteers Chrissi Richardson and Carole Baker attended Penketh Christmas Market. They had a fantastic afternoon, and the event was a great success, raising £165 through our Christmas stall.
Local business spreads joy with selection box donation for patients
Andy Hibbert from local business Real 5 Networking generously donated 60 selection boxes on Friday 29 November. These will be distributed to patients, bringing a little extra joy during their stay.
Former WHH colleague donates to Neonatal Ward
On Wednesday 27 November, we had the pleasure of welcoming Chris Todd, a former WHH colleague, who kindly provides Christmas presents each year for the babies on Warrington Hospital’s Neonatal Ward.
We are incredibly grateful for Chris’s thoughtful gifts, which will mean so much to the little ones’ families this Christmas.
Among this year’s recipients are triplets Gracie, Charlie, and Amelie, who are currently being cared for on our Neonatal Unit.
