The Magic of Christmas

Would your child like to receive a letter from Santa? WHH Charity are offering this service to anyone who donates £3 to this year’s Christmas appeal.

For most of us, Christmas is a time for cozy evenings by the fire, family gatherings and eating a few too many mince pies. But for some people, the magic of Christmas is overshadowed by illness and many spend the Christmas period in hospital. With that said, we at WHH Charity ask you to spare a thought for those who will be in a hospital bed this Christmas Day instead of at home with their families.

By purchasing a letter from Santa, not only will you help to improve patient facilities, but you will also be contributing towards important additional services that enhance our patients’ overall experience, whether that be an ‘above and beyond’ piece of equipment or refurbishment of an area that will help to create a relaxed environment for patients. What’s more, your donation will directly and immediately benefit members of your local community.

And of course, it’s a truly magical way to get the kids excited about Santa’s big arrival!

All you have to do is email our Chief Elf jane.breeze@nhs.net who will send you a form. Fill in the form (making sure to include some extra information about hobbies, achievements and Christmas wishes, so that we can make their letter extra special) and return it along with your £3 donation to our Charity Office in Warrington Hospital’s main reception area.

Closing date is Monday 16th December, just so that our post elves are able to get it to you on time for Christmas!
