WHH Charity met a wonderful young man called Brodie Carr, 8 years old, who felt a huge need to make a difference within his local community.

Brodie started his journey by collecting his pocket money, buying food and donating it to the Warrington Food Bank, he then felt that simply wasn’t enough and so with the help and support of his parents, Bill and Ray, he set up a Just Giving Page to raise funds so he was then able to provide Easter Eggs to both the Food bank and also to Warrington and Halton Hospitals’ Charity Children’s ward.

The support Brodie received was simply overwhelming, raising over £700 he was then able to purchase Easter Bunnies, providing the community he lives in a little something special this Easter time.

Helen, Charity Fundraising Manager, expressed how much it was a pleasure to meet such a young passionate man who acknowledges by helping one person may not change the world, however it may certainly change that one person’s world!
