Hope Academy School Ambassadors

On Wednesday 8th November members from WHH Charity team welcomed 21 students from Hope Academy. These year 7 pupils enrolled to become a school charity ambassador – they then were invited into Warrington Hospital for a morning workshop full of fun and informative activities.

Michelle Goodwin, School Chaplain, explained how they were all so very excited to get started on making a difference to the patients within our hospitals, starting with their Christmas Market held on Monday 11th December 6-8.30pm where the team of ambassadors will be running a tombola stall.

Year 7 Head, Steven Robinson, was overwhelmed by the ideas and creativity from the year group. He even received a pledge from each and every one of the ambassadors that they aim to be the best that they can be, motivating and informing others of their quest to make a difference.

Not only is Steve supporting his year group in every way possible, he has also pledged to take on his very own personal 100K challenge, look out for his tweets sharing his incredible journey! Plus support him via his just giving page.
