Until We Meet Again

On Wednesday 4th July, Halton Hospital stepped back in time to 1940, the birth year of the NHS. A tea party was held at the George Lloyd Restaurant to celebrate 70 years of free healthcare in the UK.

Hospital staff and residents of the local community came and enjoyed tea and cakes (as one would expect at a tea party), as well taking part in our charity tombola.

They were also entertained by the oh-so-talented Davies Sisters, who got people up dancing and reminiscing by singing classic 1940s hits from the likes of Glenn Miller, The Andrews Sisters and George Formby.

We were also joined by wonderful ASDA Warrington supporters, who have been a fantastic support in our 70th birthday celebrations and for whom we couldn’t be more grateful #TogetherWeAreAmazing
